From the early ages on the works of art of world culture are studied and an understanding of their styles, under a wide historical perspective is aimed. Applied works are done with works of art that are products of Anatolian culture. Common projects are prepared about the excavations and field researches in Bursa and surroundings, the evaluation of the archives of Bursa. Optional courses are prepared with regards to the working fields of the students after the graduation. The graduates can be employed in museums, in fields concerning tourism, in the departments of institutions reladet to culture and art or as a member of academia. Members of academia give compulsory and opptional courses of art history of civilizations to certain departments of faculties of Uludağ University.
